Dear Customers and Community Members,
As we all continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very closely we wanted to inform you of the actions we are taking to keep our stores safe for our employees, for our customers and for our communities. We are currently still open and navigating through the challenges like all of our fellow New Brunswickers.
The response to the COVID-19 pandemic requires all of us to act in the best interest of our communities. We take this situation very seriously and will continue to act on the advice of the government and public health officials. We all play a role in keeping each other and our community safe – our team will do our part and we ask our customers to do the same. We ask that our customers respect social distancing while in our stores to protect themselves and our team members.
Please be patient with our team as we are doing our best and we are grateful to have them providing this important service to our customers. Please be kind to us and to each other in this difficult time.
What We’re Doing:
-We are staying home if we have any symptoms of COVID-19
-We are maintaining a social distance of 2 meters from our customers as much as possible and we are letting our customers know
-We are limiting the number of people in the store at all times. We are asking customers to wait outside if there are 2-5 customers already in the store depending on store location.
-Regularly disinfecting all high-touch areas. This includes wiping down all door handles,debit/credit pin pads, our cash areas, our bathrooms, customer cart handles, customer basket handles and other commonly touched areas. We are using disinfectant that is proven effective against enveloped viruses like COVID-19
– We have communicated proper hand-washing policies and hygiene practices to reduce the spread of the virus
-Increasing accessibility of hand sanitizers for employees and clients across each store
-We have suspended any participation in events inside and outside of the store
-We are suspending visits from outside sales reps
-We have contactless curbside and delivery options available for you!
– We have split our teams up so that team members do not work at multiple locations and have split our teams into two different groups at each store. This way it minimizes the amount of people each team member is in contact with.
What You as a Customers Can Do:
-Please maintain a social distance of 2 meters as much as possible to help stop the spread.
-Card payment is appreciated over cash whenever possible
-Please do not hand us your cards, you can tell us your AirMiles number or customer card number verbally.
-We are limiting the number of people in the store at all times. We are asking you to wait outside if there are 2- 3 customers already in the store.
-Please try to limit visits to one family member at a time coming in.
-If you are feeling unwell and have symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 or is suspected of having it, please refrain from coming into the store.
-If you have recently traveled outside of Canada, and returned since March 13, refrain from visiting our stores and follow the federal government’s self-isolation practices.
-If you have been asked to self-isolate for any reason, refrain from visiting our store until your isolation period is over.
We are constantly monitoring the situation and adjusting protocol as recommended.
